
The Great Route of Morocco from Fez
Day 1 – Fes – Fes
Entire day dedicated to the discovery of the intellectual city of the kingdom. There are many monuments that you can visit: Medersas (Koranic Schools): Chahrij, Bouinania Attarin. Souks, Fes El-Jedid, the Karaouine Mosque (first university in the world). We can also visit its souk, an authentic labyrinth full of colors, smells and an infinity of artisan shops.
Day 2 – Fez – Ifrane – Azrou – Monkey Forest – Erfoud-desert
From Fez we will go to the Middle Atlas, to visit Ifrane, known as the Switzerland of Africa. The next town will be Azrou "the rock", a Berber town known for its crafts, carpets and wood sculpture, then arrival in Midelt. The path is followed by the Tizi Talghemt or Neck of the Camella, at 1,907 meters of altitude. The relief is impressive, the mountains are completely bare, covered in a purple coat. Day 3 – Merzouga
From today we start 3 days of Total Desert. We will wake up before dawn to watch the sunrise from the Great Dune. Return in dromedaries to the town of Merzouga. After a copious and rich breakfast, we will surround the dunes of Erg Chebbi, an extension of the sand desert where the Great Dune of Morocco is located, over 250 meters high, and we will connect by track with part of the route followed by the old Paris. -Dakar and with the mountains that border Algeria in the background. Stop at the oasis of Tissardmine where we can find fossil races that are still in this region and we will continue to a nomadic settlement where we will learn some of its secrets and customs. We'll have tea with these very welcoming people. Later stop at a panoramic point where we can contemplate the Erg Chebbi as a whole. We will arrive at the village of Khamlia, originally from Mali, where we will relax with tea while enjoying a small concert of spiritual Gnawa music. Return to the Hotel and free afternoon to walk around the town or climb the dunes on a quad and take advantage of the sunset. Dinner and overnight in Riyadh.
Day 4 – Erg chebbi oasis – Khamlia – Ouzina desert – Ramlia oasis – lac el maider – Zagora:
After breakfast we head towards Ouzina along the Dakar Rally track and the desert appears, voluptuous dunes, fine golden sands. The dunes of Ouzina
This itinerary follows the second stage of the Dakar. We cross Rio de Ramlia, a desert of Berber villages rising through a desert landscape. Then we will arrive at the town of Tafraoute, lost in the heart of the desert. After Remlia, we will arrive at the palm grove of Foum Jrane, a jewel. Beautiful villages are attached to the Oasis. We will pass through some nomadic villages, and we will join the Draa Valley, an immense green snake that penetrates the desert for about 250 km and that will lead us to Zagora. Night in hotel
Day 5: Zagora – Ouarzazate
After breakfast we will leave, we will make a stop in Agdz and we will pass through the Draa river valley: the most important oasis in southern Morocco. We will go to Ouarzazate, the Hollywood of Morocco. We will also visit the city of Ait Benhadou, a fortified Kasbah declared a World Heritage Site and where several films such as Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, among others, were filmed.
Day 6 – Ouarzazate-Taliouine – Taroudant
After breakfast, we will go to the Tafilalet valley. An important oasis watered by the Ziz River.
We continue our way we pass through taznakht we arrive at the city of taliouine capital of El saffron in Morocco we arrive in the afternoon free to visit the city taroudant. Dinner and accommodation in Hotel.
Day 7 – Taroudant – Agadir – Essaouira
A few kilometers from Taroudant we will reach the Atlantic coast, which we reach in Agadir. From this city, the road follows the coast, in a succession of cliffs, dunes and arborvitae forests, the conifers that serve as the basis for Essaouira's appreciated crafts. We will pass through charming maritime towns such as Taghaouz. We will arrive in Essaouira with time to make a first tour of it. Dinner and accommodation in this charming maritime town.
Day 8 – Essaouira – Essaouira
Free day to enjoy Essaouira, its beaches, its old town, its shops, markets, etc. There will be time to wander and discover Essaouira, the old Mogador, wedged between the dunes and the Atlantic. Its Portuguese walls, the charm of its medina, the endearing port and the artisans who work the wood of yours draw a special framework. We can also enjoy, after the hot days in the desert, its extensive beach. Lunch in a beautiful fishermen's place. Dinner and accommodation in Riyadh.
Day 9 – Essaouira – Marrakesh
In the morning, after breakfast and the last purchases, we will leave for Marrakech, where we will arrive after only 165 km of good road. Free afternoon to rest in the Riad or walk around the city.

Day 10 – Excursion to the Ourika Valley
Departure from your Riad or hotel towards the course of the Ourika River to admire the landscape of the High Atlas, completely different from that seen in Marrakech and populated by small villages on the slopes of the valley. We will continue to Setti Fatma, a small town from which we will visit the Ourika River Falls, where you can enjoy delicious Tajin food and a short walk to the Ourika Falls. Return in the afternoon to Marrakech
Day 11 – Marrakesh
After breakfast we spend a full day excursion to visit Marrakech. The stories tell that the city was inhabited by a tribe on the other side of the Atlas, with large quantities of dates, and the bones, born from a palm. Called "the red city" due to the color of its walls and full of gardens. A unique experience will be discovering the "Djemaa El Fna" square, where the life and activity of the city are concentrated: dancers, storytellers, jugglers, artisans, merchants and snake charmers. We stay in Marrakech overnight in local Riads..
Day 12 – Marrakesh – Airport
Free time until we go to the airport before your flight back to your city and this will be the end of our services.
