The Great South of Morocco
Day 1 – Marrakesh
Arrival at the Menara airport in Marrakech, reception by a Morocco Tour Excursions guide and transfer to the Riad and selected hotel. After staying, guided tour of Marrakesh, city that gave Morocco its name. Marrakech is a spectacular and vibrant city, where there is a permanent party as can be seen in the famous Djema el Fna Square, which was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. For several centuries now, this square has been the most incredible popular theater in the world: snake charmers, musicians, dancers, storytellers, fortune tellers, actors, fortune tellers... But beyond its festive spirit, we cannot forget that its history is linked to that of the different dynasties that have succeeded it, as well as its tradition as an administrative, political, economic and cultural metropolis has always dominated the history of the Maghreb.
In Marrakech there are countless places to visit, it is worth mentioning Medersa Ben Youssef, the Menara, the Dar Si Said Museum, the Agdal Garden, the Saadian Tombs and the Badi and Bahia Palaces.
Day 2 – Marrakech – High Atlas – Foum Zguid
Leaving Marrakech behind to head towards the Moroccan south, we will cross the High Atlas through the port of Tizi-n-Tichka that offers a wonderful panoramic view, continuing the route to Taznakht, where we will arrive in time for a lunch with regional delicacies. . The route continues to Foum Zguid.

Día 3 – Foum Zguid – Lago Iriki – Erg Chegaga – Mhamid – Erg Lihoudi
After a delicious breakfast, we set off to discover the Moroccan desert, starting with the Iriki lake, Erg Chegaga dunes, picnic in the sacred oasis after running the M'hamid hamadas, arrival at the Erg Lihoudi bivouac.
Night in Haimas with a starry sky like no other.
Day 4 – Erg Lihoudi – Zagora – Ouzina Desert
In the morning, head to Zagora from Erg Lihoudi. Afterwards, we continue towards the Tafilalaet neck that opens between the banks of the Jebl Bani, a track marked out by the black desert. Time to travel a track that was used in previous editions of the prestigious Paris-Dakar Raid, Arrival at Erg Ouzina.
Night in desert kasbah.
Day 5 – Ouzina – Magic of the Desert – Erg Chebbi
Quiet day with a few kilometers by car, opportunity to get in touch with the native families in the little village of Ouzina and have tea with them.
You can also rent an ATV with a guide to go deep into the dunes, a wonderful and vibrant experience. The nomads will be visited and at sunset a camel ride, contemplating the wonderful sunset from the great dune.

Day 6 – Ouzina-Erg Chebbi – Rissani – Todra Gorge
From Ouzina you will have the option to go around the beautiful Erg chebbi, a stop in the village of Hamilia to listen to musicians with origins from Sudan and Mali, drums from Black Africa. Then you will arrive at the first imperial city of the country, the economic capital of southern Morocco (Rissani) where you will be able to see the market of the Berbers of the south. The trip is routed through the palm grove of Tafilalet with stops to enjoy the panoramic view and take some beautiful photographs.
Lunch on the way accommodation in the Todra Gorges.
Day 7 – Todra Gorge – Dades – Ouarzazate
In the morning we leave the Todra Gorges and head towards Dadés, through this canyon a mountain river of pristine waters flows, between vertical precipices of about 160 meters high. Not surprisingly, it is one of the best places in North Africa to practice climbing. You will have the opportunity to take a walk along a beautiful path that goes into the canyon. Then you head towards Boutghrar, take a track through the middle of the Atlas, discovering there another type of nomads who live in caves, drink tea with them and then continue towards the kasbah and arrive at Ouarzazate.

Day 8 – Ouarzazate – Kasbah Ait Benhaddou – Talouet – Marrakech
Departure for Marrakech, last day of the route through the High Atlas, the vast majority of the way through ksours, until reaching Aït Ben Haddou; This very famous Kasbah is a small medieval town, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, which has also been the scene of numerous cinematographic blockbusters, such as Lawrence of Arabia or Gladiator.
After visiting the Kasbah and having lunch, continue to the Glaoui kasbah Talouet palace along a spectacular route.
Arrival in Marrakesh.
Day 9 – Marrakesh
Free day to enjoy Marrakech… Night in Riyadh
Day 10 – Marrakech-Airport
Departure from Marrakech at the indicated time, transfer to the airport and end of our services.
